A little information on myself
I have been in the Veterinary business since 1989. The past 9 years of which I have been managing a large Veterinary Hospital in Dartmouth , Nova Scotia. My specialization within veterinary medicine is canine reproduction. I am the resident fertility, artificial insemination, and birthing expert. I have degrees in Animal Sciences, Small Animal Nutrition, and Animal Dermatology.
I have Continuing Education credits in:
*Coaching the Canine Athlete
*New Advances in Canine Reproduction, Theriogeneology.
*Building Better Communication Skills for the Veterinary Hospital
*Internal and External Parasite Control
*Synbiotics Antigen test proficiencies
I
have been volunteering for the Greyhound Pets of Atlantic Canada since 1996. I am responsible for the Veterinary care (ex: wound treatments, nail trimming, teeth scaling, suture rem oval) of the dogs before they are placed in their new adoptive homes. This has been a very personally satisfying experience to make such a difference in these animals' lives.
I have owned and operated my own registered business, Wags-To-Riches Professional Pet Care since 1994. I provide pet sitting, dog walking, grooming and general medical care in the comfort of the animals own home. I have kept my business at a small scale to ensure that all of my clients get the time and attention that they deserve.
I am an avid sport competition and trial attendee. All of my dogs compete in conformation showing and do extremely well. We definitely have the "Show Gene" present in these bloodlines. We also enjoy the fun stuff like Racing, Hurdles, Lure Coursing, Go-To-Ground, High Jump and Ball Retrieval. My love of sport competition is solidified when you see how much these guys genuinely love to show off and play!
Parson Russell Terriers are amazing athletes and my dogs make me very proud when they excel at what they truly enjoy.
I had spent many years appreciating and researching the Parson
Russell Terrier before taking the great step of becoming a
responsible breeder. All has paid off in the fact that we have bred
beautiful, healthy and affectionate terriers for show or pet, and
have completed many a family with one of our Parson Russells.
